Electrical Mechanical Instrument Services (UK) Limited is based in Aberdeen, Scotland and serves the UK oil & gas industry from our UKAS accredited calibration laboratory focusing on the calibration, repair and management of electronic, electrical, pressure, differential pressure and temperature test equipment and instrumentation. The calibration of fiscal metering testing and measurement equipment is a specialisation. Dimensional and torque test equipment calibration services are also offered but are not accredited although fully traceable to National Standards. Service is also offered on-site including the ability to work offshore or overseas.

Clients include Shell Expro, BP, Total, Aker Kvaerner, AGIP, CNR International, Talisman, Wood Group, Halliburton, Sigma 3 and Rhomax Engineering. The company was established in June 1992, after a successful management buy-out and is recognised as an Investor in People and operates ISO 9001:2000. The core of the business is in the UK but presently has joint venture partners in Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Libya, Nigeria and Turkey and are looking for partners in other markets who wish to be involved with the servicing and calibration of instrumentation especially in the Oil & Gas sectors.
