The aim of these projects is to be able to provide British Standard and accredited certification to projects of high importance where quality is paramount and confidence is essential.

Our first joint venture created a calibration facility in Doha. QCAL, (Qatar Calibration Services WLL), is a joint venture company formed in partnership with Petrotec, a local trading and engineering support company. This opened in March 1998 and has proven highly successful, with steady growth each year.

QCAL maintains a fully functioning calibration laboratory with the ability to provide electrical, pressure, temperature and torque calibration, supported by a comprehensive repair capability.

The facilities have been designed to be fully portable, allowing us to transport our services throughout the Middle East when required. A capability ably demonstrated when QCAL completed calibration of the test equipment inventory held by Qatargas, in Ras Laffan.
