A New Joint Venture for Turkey

Another joint venture in another country with local partners but this has taken some time in getting together. The new company, which is known as EMIS Kalibrasyon ve Olchum Hitzmetleri Limited, is a JV with an indigenous limited company whose core business is accreditation and training and one other business person, Sebnem Atayar, who will be the general manager.

The company is based in Istanbul and will offer services to the following industries:

  • Automotive – many multinationals produce vehicles in Turkey and the demand for calibration is considerable
  • Textiles
  • Medical (the production of medical devices)
  • Food
  • Construction
  • Electronics

  • Dimension (length)
  • Torque
  • Hardness
  • Force
  • Mass

The company will employ engineers from the huge skilled labour force in Turkey and look for rapid growth networking with the Turkish partners client base.
